Paris Champion, World Record Holder and 5 time National Individual Pursuit Champion, Conor Leahy showed his class at the Ulverstone Criterium yesterday and now he's on show at Burnie New Years Eve Carnival.
Conor finished at least 10 seconds in front of a very, very classy A Grade field after getting away in a two man break and establishing a significant lead over some international stars. Now he's at Burnie Carnival. I mean now! Come! You haven't missed him. He's riding today at Burnie and he'll be here with teammates, 25 time National Champion Graeme Frislie who claimed second at Ulverstone, plus 'Mr Consistent' and podium regular, Kurt Eather who finished third.
They'll all be here at Burnie and they're just three of a star studded Elite Men's field.
The Japanese team mopped up the cream in early Carnivals and it will be great to see the drama unfold as these teams take on each other... as well as some determined Kiwis and locals scheming to deprive them.
We're looking at a program packed with stars. Be here Burnie. Show the world why Burnie earned it's reputation as one of the best sporting events on the planet.
